ldap-git-backup software package provides Back up LDAP database in an Git repository, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ldap-git-backup
ldap-git-backup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ldap-git-backup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ldap-git-backup *
You will get with ldap-git-backup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
